Sister Projects

INTERLACE is closely cooperating with three other projects working on nature-based solutions under the European Union's Horizon 2020 Europe Programme: CONEXUS, CLEARING HOUSE and REGREEN.

Conexus Logo

CONEXUS is a four-year project that will provide accessible knowledge on how to restore natural ecosystems; improve the quality of life in and around cities; and support collaboration between Latin America and Europe. It partners with six pilot cities: Barcelona, Spain; Bogotá, Colombia; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Lisbon, Portugal; Santiago de Chile, Chile; São Paulo, Brazil; Turin, Italy.

Clearinghouse Logo

CLEARING HOUSE addresses a global challenge that unites European and Chinese cities in their quest to develop more resilient cities and liveable societies in order to improve human wellbeing. Our main focus is on tree-based green infrastructure which is the basis for “urban forests as nature-based solutions”. The CLEARING HOUSE project gathers 26 partners in Europe and China, and will provide evidence and tools that facilitate the mobilisation of the full potential of urban forest-based solutions for rehabilitating, reconnecting and restoring urban ecosystems.

Regreen

REGREEN will substantially improve the evidence and tools for supporting co-creation of nature-based solutions (NBS) in urban settings, implementation of decision support systems for planning and governance, and development of business models for realising spatially relevant NBS, that provide multiple ecosystem services and wellbeing.
